Curiousity

So, my dear readers, today I realized that I do not know who you are.
It’s true. For the most part, my blog is read anonymously, with only a scarce few who comment or tell me they read it.
So I suppose this is just because I’m curious. And I would love to know who you are, even if I’ve never met you before. *smiles*

If you happen to read my blog at all… perhaps… just perhaps… could you take a moment and briefly introduce yourself in the comment box?

I know it’s a strange request. But that’s alright, because I’m a bit strange myself. I would appreciate it *so* much. But, you know, if you’re an uber-conservative homeschooler whose parents won’t let share any personal info, as in a first name, I respect that… but I don’t really think most of you are that sort of person, because some of what I say could be taken as very far-fetched and offensive to said persons. I certainly would have heard from you by now if that were so.
^_^

Warm Me Up.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! (Or single Awareness Day…however you view it.) Below is my personal opinion of Coffee. I’m sure you’ll get nothing out of it, but I enjoyed writing it… and a certain someone will find this very amusing also. Feel special. ^_^

Growing up, I had a strange enmity for Coffee. Not because I disliked the taste or the aroma, but simply because I had never truly experienced a good cup of Coffee. In my young, immature mind, Coffee was found on a Sunday morning in old styrofoam cups, lukewarm with grounds idly drifting about. Because of this, I never really had a full, *good* cup of Coffee until just recently. About a month ago, I discovered a growing appreciation for Tea, not quite as strong or bold as Coffee, but still flavourful and enjoyable all the same. It’s mixture of naturally soothing flavours began to grow on me… Until I discovered Coffee.

That first scent, the overwhelming aroma, the strong taste saturated my very being. Tingling sensations flittered through my fingertips. I was captivated by it. However had I lived without it? I scoffed at myself, at my apprehension, my inability to try something new. Slowly I began to realize the truth about Coffee… truth that I would like to share with you.

-Coffee can easily entrance you, captivate you, grasp you for its own. The mere mention of its name can send your heart soaring through the clouds.
-The energy that surges from that one little sip, the caffeine entering your body leaves you energized, ready to face the world.
-Coffee will never cease to make you smile.
-Coffee is better strong, but the slightest hint of creamer makes it soothing and suave.
-Coffee is better when cherished. Each sip, every moment spent should be savoured. Allow the aroma to waft about you, the taste to dance upon your taste buds. Get caught up in the wonder of Coffee.

Yes, Coffee can truly make your life different. Appreciate it. Love it. Cherish it. Don’t be afraid. Embrace the Coffee.

*snicker* Sorry. I’m in a funny mood.
